Let me tell you a story . . .
I have a client named Jane. I’ve known her for years. She’s bright, funny, witty, and a pleasure to be around. One day Jane came into my office in tears and told me a story I’ve heard from so many other clients.
This bright, energetic woman thought she was losing her mind and was starting to contemplate suicide. She also had more pain in her body than she’d ever had before. No one had been able to give her answers. Her doctors told her it was all in her head. I knew her well enough to know that was 100% not true. Something was going on, and it took about 10 minutes to figure it out.
I asked her to bring in any supplements she had been taking, and walk me through when things started. During our conversation two big glaring points stuck out to me:
- Her mental health complaints and pain all started suddenly, and so severely that she could pinpoint it to the exact day it began.
- She has a mouth full of metal fillings and had started taking a strong chelator (a substance that pulls heavy metals from the body). Big no no if you have metal fillings.
Jane had no idea the supplement she’d purchased at a local health food store was a chelator. I asked her to stop taking it until she’d had her metal fillings removed by a biological dentist. Next, I asked her to go home and see if she’d had a smart meter installed near her home. Bingo. The day her symptoms started was the same day a smart meter was installed on the other side of the wall next to her bed. Essentially what was happening to Jane was that she was circulating heavy metals in her body without safely eliminating them from her system, and she was being bombarded with electromagnetic frequencies every 30 seconds when the smart meter transmits its signal. With those two issues happening simultaneously Jane was basically a walking antenna.
Fast forward two weeks and Jane had moved, and gotten her metal fillings removed safely. (No, you don’t have to move. There are alternatives). She felt like herself again! Bright, bubbly Jane was back!
Her story is so similar to my own, and I shudder to think where Jane and I would have ended up if we hadn’t gotten to the root cause the real problem. Find the cause. Fix the cause. The body can heal! So, to answer the question: What’s worse? Heavy Metals or EMFs? It totally depends on YOU. Not everyone is as sensitive to EMFs as I am. Some people have the ability to detoxify heavy metal exposures more efficiently than others. The goal is to do two things: reduce our exposures to what harms our health, and give our minds and bodies what they need to thrive. That includes healing foods, healing thoughts, healing movement and a healing environment. Take a minute to think about where you are succeeding, and where you could use some more work.
Wherever you are on your journey, take it one step at a time. Health is a journey, not a sprint.
Cheers to your success!
