  1. In a medium sauce pan on medium heat, melt butter, and add onion and garlic.
  2. Cook until onion is translucent 4-5 minutes.
  3. Season garlic and onions with the rosemary, sage, and 1 teaspoon salt.
  4. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add in the chicken or turkey stock. In a separate cup add 1 teaspoon of arrowroot starch to 2 teaspoons of water and stir.
  6. Whisk the water and arrowroot into the warm liquid.
  7. Remove from the heat once it is thickened 30 seconds to 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
